Duration: 3 to 5 days depending on requirements

Objective: At the end of this training, the trainees should be able to quickly and correctly react to major combined-cycle power plant upsets.

Content: Covers operator actions, consequences of actions and inaction, and follow-up actions for major plant upsets such as boiler tube leaks, condenser tube leaks, and tripping of major auxiliaries.

Target Group: Operation Managers, Operation Engineers, Shift Engineers, and Plant Operators of combined-cycle power plants.
