Objective: At the end of this training, the trainees should be able to demonstrate the shutting down of a combined-cycle power plant (CCPP) and an understanding of the process and principles for safe shutdown of the plant.

Content: Covers the plant system overview, plant automation system overview, plant shutdown principles and concepts, steam turbine shutdown, heat recovery steam generator shutdown, and gas turbine shutdown.

Target Group: Operation Managers, Operation Engineers, Shift Engineers, Performance Managers, Performance Engineers and Plant Operators of combined-cycle power plants.
