Duration: 5 days

Objective: At the end of this training, the trainees should be able to demonstrate the starting up of a combined-cycle power plant (CCPP) and an understanding of the process and principles for safe startup of the plant.

Content: Covers the plant system overview, plant automation system overview, plant operation and control principles and concepts, fuel distribution concept, gas turbine start-up to base load, heat recovery steam generator and water-steam cycle start-up, and steam turbine startup to full load.

Target Group: Operation Managers, Operation Engineers, Shift Engineers, Performance Managers, Performance Engineers and Plant Operators of combined-cycle power plants.
